Shawn has been a 2 time Royal Rumble Winner. | Once in 1995 where he eliminated the British Bulldog. And in 1996 when he eliminated real life best friend Diesal (Kevin Nash). He then went on to Wrestlemania 12 in Anaheim California to acomplish his boyhood dream of becoming the WWF champion. In a 1 hour "Iron Man Match" He defeated Bret Hart to become the WWF champion for the 1st time. At the 1996 Survivor Series he lost the belt to Syco Sid, and regained it again at the 1997 Royal Rumble. He later forfited the belt do to a injury. Later that year him and close friend Hunter Hurst Hemsley Degeneration X. The 2 degenerates including Chyna caused havoc in the World Wrestling Federation. At the 1997 Survivor Series Shawn once again had another shot at becoming the champ for a 3rd time and sure enough he defeated Bret Hart again in one of the most controversial screw jobs in wrestling history. In 1998 at Wrestlemania 14 Shawn lost the belt to Stone Cold Steve Austin. He took some time off only appearing a couple of times for commentary till November of 1998 where he returned to be the commishner of the WWF. Since then Shawn had back surgery on January 12, 1999 and I highly doubt he will return to the ring. He has opened a wrestling school in San Antonio, Texas and is promoting show's down there.
